What could be better when there is a nip in the air than to grab a shawl, throw it over your shoulders & feel the warmth almost instantly.  Better yet, when your warmed up, you simply swing it back off your shoulders with ease.  Or, you can throw on your legs to keep the chill off your legs.  No matter how you use it, it is sure to give you just enough warmth for your comfort.
 
Aran Fleck yarn reminds me of the ole tweed jackets with the leather or suede elbow patches.  It's a versatile yarn & the color goes with darn near everything.  This particular shawl is a heavier shawl & I made it larger for the not so petite folks.   It has many layers of design including popcorn stitches.
 
The shawl has been washed & dried and it turned out incredibly soft, especially for it's weight & design.
 
The shawl measures a generous 53" from bottom of neck downward and has a wingspan of 116".
