This is what I call a skinny scarf.   It is a knit in a 2 x 2 knit 2 purl 2 design.  It is pretty straight forward in pattern and color.  The color is a variegated Blues to Red design & I love this colorway.  
 
I have washed and dried the scarf and it is so soft to the skin.
 
Scarf measures:  2 3/4" wide by 62" long.
