Using this incredibly soft acrylic yarn in a variegated Brown/Tan/Cream colorway, this hat is what I would call Beanie Style.   It is as soft as it looks and is very comfortable on the head.  Give it to your favorite skateboarder, skier or snowboarder, they won't be disappointed.
