I love making stash buster quilts as they are truly one of a kind. I treat them no differently than a quilt I would keep.  I have them fully quilted, colors look so much better in person than my camera and I hand bind my quilts.  Maybe one day I'll do a machine binding but I'm a traditionalist when it comes to quilts.  Quilt is 100% cotton.
 
This baby quilt would be perfect for an Heirloom gift for any new momma.  I wash all my quilts in Woolite and use downy April Fresh - 1/2 a capful. If you have a sensitive skin baby, you can use Dreft if you prefer.
