The longer one sews, the more fabric they need, right? I use up a lot of fabric when I'm cranking out handmade items which leaves me a good variety of scraps to build new things. I don't know of any seamstresses or sewers who throws away 'leftovers'. Just saying it makes my skin itch. I use up pretty much any size piece of fabric that makes sense to a given project. In this case, I was in my medium 'leftovers' and mixed them with some smaller 'leftovers'.

I decided to make up some dolly quilts in a grab n sew fashion. No putting back anything I grab, just go with it. I made several smaller quilts and a few larger quilts. I still had fabric to burn through. So, I made some patchwork bears to go with the quilts. Nothing fancy but they sure are cute. They are the perfect item for your 'little' to hug & take for a nap or play with in a car on a road trip. Or the 'biggies' can use them for decorating. Either way, they are cute, practical & the perfect size for toting along.

There are several designer fabrics which makes for a good mix & blend and produces one-of-a-kind items. This particular set is influenced by the PINKS, CREAMS AND LAVENDERS. The quilt is done in a traditional fashion with the exception of the edges which are ragged just like teddy's.
