Feels Like Butta is a polyester yarn disguising itself as something much fancier.  The texture is unbelievable, and it washes up beautifully.  It's very soft but has a little weight to it vs say an acrylic.  Taken from Lion Brands website:  "The velvety feel of chenille without chenille's challenges. We created a pastel palette for babies as well as a fashion palette for adult garments and accessories that can be worn close to the skin."
This particular shawl is made a little smaller than most of my other shawls but still a very pretty pattern.  It has a crescent shape rather than triangle shaped.
 
The shawl measures:  88" wingspan x 32" from neck to back.
