I had asked my husband, "what does this pattern look like to you?"  He replied "a wheat stock".  So, this is my wheat stock knit scarf made from an acrylic aran fleck yarn.  
 
I have washed & dried the scarf and my goodness, it's soft.  Buy for yourself or give as a gift.
